Locally owned and operated by a retired veteran, Cape Fear Flooring & Restoration is a full-service restoration company and licensed NC general contractor based in Fayetteville, NC, and serving Bladen, Columbus, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Robeson and Sampson Counties. We also have a retail establishment where we sell flooring and cabinetry. We are certified by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) and meet S500 guidelines, and our employees are trained and certified to meet and exceed industry requirements. Cape Fear Flooring & Restoration is cu'rrently accepting applications for the following positions:

Salesperson
Sells carpeting and flooring at our retail location in Hope Mills. Greets and works with customers and answers any questions they have. Handles all sales transactions, including receiving and processing various forms of payment, balancing cash drawers, maintaining sales records, and making deposits. Keeps aware of current sales and promotions. Recommends and helps obtain merchandise based on customer feedback. Displays merchandise and maintains showroom. Understands store policies and security practices. Reports to CEO.

Qualifications include a strong sense of customer service, good organizational skills, good verbal communication, and the ability to lift a minimum of XXX pounds.

Project Manager - Construction & Repairs
Manages and schedules all construction and repair projects and crews from start to finish. This inno"ative and decisive individual will work in a highly collaborative team-based environment and will set goals and expectations for each construction and/or repair project. Handles and oversees job sites and deals closely with customers, insurance adjustors and estimators. Secures project resources in a cost-effective manner and ensures that they are on site at the appropriate time. Drives service vehicles as required. Reports to CEO.

Qualifications include outstanding customer service skills, time management and multi-tasking skills, a positive attitude, advanced leadership skills, excellent reading and writing skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and all internal and external contacts throughout the project management process. Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to work flexible hours and have a valid insurable North Carolina driver's license. Minimum high school diploma or college degree. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or additional software. Experience in property restoration and construction management and/or insurance restoration sales is a plus.

Warehouse Manager
Plans, directs and coordinates the storage and distribution operations of our warehouse. Supervises employees in receiving, storing, testing and shipping . Plans, develops and implements warehouse safety and security programs, Reviews work orders and various reports to forecast peak delivery periods and maintain inventory. Schedules and monitors pickup, delivery and distribution of materials. Interviews ,and trains warehouse and supervisory personnel. Works with managementto coordinate warehouse activities such as production, sales, records control and purchasing. Responds to customer and shipper questions about storagre and distribution regarding work orders or paid invoices. Inspects physical conditions of warehouse and . equipment and performs any necessary maintenance, repairs or replacement. Develops and documents standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, shipping or salvaging materials. Examines materials to determine best type of storage or transportation. Performs all tasks necessary to ensure that all areas are clean and free of debris, including but not limited to: cutting grass, watering plants, picking up trash from common areas, and maintaining appearance of parking lot. Ensures that all entrances and exits 'are clean, neat, and in working order. Reports to CEO.

Operations Manager
Plans, directs and coordinates Cape Fear Flooring & Restoration's operations in human resources, marketing, rental management and IT. Establishes policies, manages daily operations, and plans the use of materials an.9 human resources. Reports to CEO.

General Management:
Directs the departments in charge of production, pricing, sales and distribution of materials. Manages staff, prepares work schedules, and assigns specific duties. Establishes and implements departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures, conferring with management and staff as necessary. Determines staffing requirements and interviews, hires and trains new employees or oversees personnel processes. Directs an,d coordinates finances and budget to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency. Manages the movement of goods into and out of the warehouse.

Human Resources:
Administers compensation, benefits and performance management systems as well as safety and recreation programs. Recruits, interviews and selects applicants when there is a staff vacancy. Provides current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion, and benefits. Plans and conducts new employee orientation. Handles employee' conflicts, including refereeing disputes and firing and disciplining employees. Advises managers on various policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment. Analyzes and modifies compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure legal compliance. Serves as a link between management and employees by helping to resolve work-related issues. Plans, directs, supervises and coordinates work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.

Marketing Management:
Identifies, develops and evaluates marketing strategies. Evaluates the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenses, R&D appropriations, and ROI and profit-loss projections. Works with management and staff to formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services. Selects products to display at trade shows or other events.

IT:
Designs, configures, tests and maintains computer networks and their related environments, including hardware, systems and application software, and all configurations. Diagnoses hardware and software problems and repairs or replaces as necessary. Performs data backups and disaster recovery operations. Plans, coordinates and implements network security measures. Works with network users to solve any system problems. Recommends changes to improve systems and network configurations and determines related hardware or software requirements.

Requires a minimum of two to four years of related skills, knowledge or experience. Qualifications include time management, effective verbal and written communication , good listening skills, leadership and organizational skills, the ability to make decisions and solve problems, and good management of financial resources.

Technician
Performs water cleanup, fire and smoke restoration, and mold remediation. Extracts water from flooded structures. Removes and replaces damaged materials such as flooring, drywall, sheetrock and cabinets. Assists property manager with any property damage needs. Cleans, maintains and safeguards all tools, equipment and supplies. Maintains a clean assigned service vehicle and ensures it's always ready for the next assignment. Reports to XXX.

Qualifications include a strong sense of customer service, good verbal communication and listening skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a quality- and service-oriented attitude, and the ability to lift a minimum of XXX pounds. Should be able to notice any hazards within a job site. Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to work flexible hours and have a valid North Carolina driver's license. Willing to be on call, arrive within 30 minutes, and travel within a 60-mile radius. Able to handle emergency calls on a 24-hour basis when on call.

Sales Estimator
Generates estimates and acquires new projects through leads and referrals generated by marketing activities and lead sources such as insurance adjustors and brokers, property managers and owners, and direct repair programs. Works closely with owners and managers of commercial, industrial, government and residential properties. Develops cost estimates for restoration, renovation, environmental and roofing services. Reports to XXX.

Sales:
Negotiates and executes contracts. Generates and executes charge orders. Assists in budgeting, scheduling and collection of each project.

Estimating:
Inspects and determines scope of repairs. Prepares estimates of damages or needs.

Marketing and Business Development:
Markets to new customers, insurance adjustors and facility/property managers. Leads participation in and setup of industry-specific events such as tradeshows. Attends industry-related functions. Documents and tracks all prospect and customer data. Works closely with subcontractors and vendors.

Project Coordination:
Prepares and coordinates projects for production with all relevant information, including project scope, budget and schedule. Obtains and submits subcontractor bids. Acts as customer representative and quality control on each project.

Qualifications include a strong sense of customer service, time management and multi-tasking skills, effective written and verbal communication, and a positive attitude. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, construction management or related field preferred. Requires a minimum of two years of restoration experience, as well as strong business development skills. Experience developing strategic referral relationships with insurance adjustors is a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or additional software. Experience with Xactimate software preferred, as well as experience with social media platforms such as Linkedln.
